Hwacheon Baegamsan Cable Car & Peace Dam Course!
Explore the Legacy of the Cold War.
Based on the second round of Baegamsan Cable Car (10:00 AM from the Ticket Office in Hwacheon downtown).

1. Arrive at Hwacheonsan Cable Car Ticket Office (2nd floor of Hwacheon Public Bus Terminal) (09:30)
- After purchasing tickets at the ticket office, you will take a shuttle bus to and from the cable car.
- The ticket office is located on the 2nd floor of Hwacheon Public Bus Terminal. You must park nearby and walk to the ticket office.
- Advance online reservations are mandatory. Please also confirm the parking lot location beforehand. (Tourist Information: 033-440-2361)

2. Baegamsan Cable Car
- Depart at 10:00 AM. Travel 50 minutes by shuttle bus to the lower cable car station. Board the cable car at 11:00 AM.
- 15 minutes to the observatory by the cable car; about 20 minutes at the Baegamsan Cable Car Observatory; 15 minutes to the lower platform by the cable car
- On clear days, you can clearly see North Korea's Kumgangsan Dam (aka Imnam Dam in North Korea).
- Return to Hwacheon downtown (Hwacheon Public Bus Terminal Ticket Office) by 1:00 PM for lunch.

3. Peace Dam (via Andong Iron Bridge)
- Instead of heading toward Haesan Tunnel, take the Andong Railroad Bridge, which is no longer Civilian Control Zone (CCZ), for more beautiful scenery.
- Viewing from the lower section of the Peace Dam allows you to fully grasp its scale.
- Park in front of the International Peace Art Park, then walk to the center of the Peace Narae Bridge to see the dam's immense size.
- At the dam's upper section, explore the dam’s overview, Skywalk, World Peace Bell (where you can experience ringing it), Water Culture Museum, and Bimok Park.
