The 4th tunnel

The fourth tunnel, discovered on March 3, 1990, is the only place in Korea where you can see the inside of the tunnel using a viewing train. The tunnel, found inside the DMZ 26km northeast of Yanggu, is located only 1.2km away from the military demarcation line. Around the entrance, there are military equipment, monuments and security education centers, among which the statue of the military dog "Hunt" stands out. Hunt, a dead detection dog in the process of tracking the fourth tunnel, saved the precious life of a squad member by stepping on a mine installed by North Korea and oxidizing it. There is no class for military dogs, but Hunt was honored with this achievement and a statue in front of the fourth tunnel.
