About Peace Tour Sites
The second tunnel was dug by the North Korean military to invade South Korea and was found in the Demilitarized Zone of the Military Demarcation Line. At that time, drilling was carried out as the ROK military guard heard a heavy sound in the ground while on guard duty, and after excavation, the second tunnel was discovered on March 19, 1975.
