Paroho Security Memorial Hall

In May 1951, the 6th Division of the ROK Army won the 10th, 25th, and 27th divisions of the Chinese Army after a fierce battle on Paroho Lake. It was a great victory that was able to annihilate three divisions of the Chinese army and defend Hwacheon Dam. It was the so-called Battle of Paroho. The Paroho Security Exhibition Hall introduces details of the entire history of the Korean War, including the Battle of Paroho. The images of the ROK soldiers who fought bravely during the Battle of Paroho Lake and the refugees are displayed in elaborate models, and there is a public relations hall and a rest area to inform visitors of Hwacheon-gun.
