About Peace Tour Sites

This place, called "Lee Gi-bung's villa," was used by Lee Gi-bung's wife, Park Maria, as a private villa. The building was built in the 1920s by foreign missionaries and has been used as a resort for North Korean Communist Party officials since liberation, but after the armistice agreement, Lee Ki-boong's wife, then vice president, began to use it. It was renovated as an exhibition hall in July 1999 and has been open to the public so far.
