About Peace Tour Sites

The Observer Point is a North Korea observation station located in the Baekgol unit of the 3rd Division. Extinction refers to the will of General Baekgol to destroy communism and complete the reunification of North Korea. The origin of the Baekgol unit originated from the fact that the Seobuk Youth Association died in the 18th Regiment at the time and drew a Baekgol pattern on the iron helmet to find his hometown even after becoming Baekgol. During the Korean War, the Baekgol unit crossed the 38th parallel for the first time and is famous for its unit that has never been defeated in more than 150 battles. The Extinction OP is important because it is in charge of strategic points, and it is also the transportation center leading to Seoul as Gyeongwon Line and National Route 5 are connected.
